From Within

To be nothing but your presence is a gift. It brings a life full of wonder and free from expectations. The practice of non-attachment - from an object, substance, habit, or a state of self - challenges us to connect to the root of our existence. Detach yourself from everything through practice of feeling into your being - become no one, nothing, no where, but in the present moment. This can be practiced through meditations focused on gratitude for your entire being.

Holding onto characteristics, habits, or personal identities which no longer serve creates limitations in one’s life. We are ever-changing beings, and the limiting beliefs in our minds are simply an illusion. The belief we need certain things, places, people, or situations is untrue and may be limiting. It pulls one out of the present moment to find comfort in external things, rather than feeling what is true.

All you need is already within.

It is found through the breath. Breathing into presence lands you into your body. It gives the opportunity for your wholebeing to work as one - mind, body, and spirit. Connect within to become aware of what is true for you and what no longer serves. Attachment to a self-image or certain identities holds potential for struggle through stagnation in one’s path. It barricades growth and one’s true flow in life.

So let go.

Let go of it all.

Land within yourself and love every moment.

Finding myself in a place I did not expect over the past two months has taught me to truly be where my feet are. I had to leave a life I loved, in a place my younger self dreamed of living. I dropped into a funk, I felt disconnected from myself, and I was constantly questioning why. When the chapters turned sooner than I expected, I felt like I was lost in mid air. I was panicked and struggling.

After sitting with these feelings, I realized my need to know why was taking me out of my present experience. I was longing to hold onto a reality which simply no longer serves. I worked to shift my perspective through embracing life’s impermanence. I now feel gratitude for what was, and I choose to lean into the unknown.

Realignment happens through surrender to what is. Everything happens as it is meant to. You will feel reawakened once you choose to flow with each experience and practice presence. Remember you hold all you need within, and you will feel at peace no matter where you are.

I want to share this with others as it has truly helped me through times of struggle.

Your only guarantee is yourself in this life. So love your presence. Accept your whole being no matter what, and live with intention to love yourself and all others. You have the opportunity to create your reality each morning you wake up.

Life is an experience that does not wait for you to open your eyes to see the beauty of each moment. We are beings capable of anything we set our minds to. Connect within, follow your passions, live with intention, and come as you are because

you are the creator of your story.
